Ability Versus Reason…The Secret To Getting Things Done.

Posted on: May 20, 2013

I recently got on a 2 hour long bus ride and was wondering what i should listen to while on the bus. I hate squinting my eyes during uneven bumpy rides so i wasn’t even going to try reading the ebooks on my phone. I decided to reference some of the classic audio-books i have that reminded me of when i was starting out, hungry driven and “possessed” with goal accomplishment. I specifically pulled one out by Jim Rohn a personal classic and a favorite of many! On this particular ride i listened to one of his classics “Cultivating An Unshakable Character ” and in particular, i loved a section about getting things done.

See majority of us have the ability to get things done but not enough reason. Ability is just not enough. I remember a few years ago reading “Start With Why” by Simon Sinek and a solid why trumps a strategic how. It is the datum point. It cuts out a lot of unnecessary clutter and busy-ness which is the act of doing for the sake of engaging without purpose!

Mary Depree said that “It is important that we focus on who we need to be than on what we need to do” and in a universe filled with clutter, doing precedes being which is literally in reverse.

On this Monday, find the hidden Why in everything before you do it. You don’t have to do it for every action at first but you can start with some actions!

Let’s say you go to eat out every day ask yourself Why do you do this versus eating and cooking at home.  You can also ask why are you doing what you’re doing and what is the impact of your actions!

Enjoy this right here Monday and have fun with the exercise.

I would love to add if you do not surely have an insurance policy or else you do not participate in any group insurance, you could
well reap the benefits of seeking the help of a health insurance
agent. Self-employed or those with medical conditions commonly
seek the help of the health insurance agent.

Thanks for your post.
Thanks for your short article. I would also like
to say a health insurance specialist also works for the benefit
of the particular coordinators of a group insurance policy.
The health insurance professional is given a directory of benefits needed by a person or a group coordinator.
What a broker does indeed is find individuals or perhaps coordinators which will best match up
those requirements. Then he reveals his advice and if both sides
agree, the actual broker formulates a binding agreement between the
two parties.
I will also like to say that most individuals that find themselves without health
insurance are normally students, self-employed and those that are out of work.
More than half in the uninsured are really under
the age of Thirty five. They do not sense they are looking
for health insurance as they are young and healthy. Their own income
is typically spent on homes, food, along with entertainment.

Many individuals that do represent the working class either entire or in
their free time are not offered insurance through their
jobs so they get along without with the rising expense of health insurance in america.
Thanks for the suggestions you share through your blog.

Thanks for the tips you discuss through this blog. In addition, numerous young women who become
pregnant never even try to get health care insurance because they dread they wouldn’t qualify. Although many states today require that insurers offer coverage regardless of pre-existing conditions. Premiums on most of these guaranteed programs are usually bigger, but when considering the high cost of medical care bills it may be your safer route to take to protect your current financial potential.
I have taken note that of all sorts of insurance, medical care insurance is the most controversial because of the discord between the insurance coverage company’s duty to remain profitable and
the buyer’s need to have insurance coverage. Insurance companies’ commissions on overall health plans are extremely
low, therefore some firms struggle to profit.

Thanks for the strategies you write about through this blog.
