Half Well done is better than nothing……..

Posted on: September 27, 2010

In our quest for perfection, we tend to spend years and years trying to polish the final product only to realize that by the time we hit the market with it, the demand has changed or is not interested anymore!

Don’t worry about perfection! Don’t even worry about streamlining it! Some of the best products were sold with many many bugs! Hence the reason for remake’s! For example, Microsoft has been putting out different versions of operating systems from the day they started! Windows 95,Windows NT, Windows 98,Windows 2000,Windows XP,Windows Vista and now Windows 7! They create a prototype and ship it out and fix the bugs then release the fixed prototype and give it a new name! This is a profitable way of doing business! If your product could cater to 1 or 2 problems your end user is experiencing, then you have every reason to ship it!

NB: Make sure you ship something that is decent in the very least otherwise you may not be able to even sell the final fixed prototype if it’s that bad!
