The habit of saving……

Posted on: September 16, 2010

Saving is a habit that is acquired meaning that practice does make it perfect! Every business has or least should have an access to emergency funds and you are no exception….(you are a business) ! Here are some secrets to saving :-

  1. Eliminate what you really don’t need
  2. It’s not how much you make but how much you keep
  3. Haba na haba hujaza kibaba(little by little equates to a lot)
  4. the 30-30-30-10 rule 30%-treat yourself(this includes education, growth, clothes and all),30%-pay your bills,30%-save,10%-tithe or give back to community and your percentages can differ but this is just a blueprint
  5. Put your money in engines that you understand and that will work for you so that you can experience freedom from having to work! Look at it as a partnership with your money… a team player would you subject your team player to abuse by exposing him or her to situations where growth is inevitable?
  6. Research shows that though……most millionaires don’t like to spend period, maybe we can learn something from them!
  7. Find your optimal place and then habituate it!

Have a wonderful thursday!
