Critical Point……The point where everything else becomes preparation

Posted on: July 9, 2010

  1. Water boils at 100 degrees!
  2. Meat is cooked at 140 degrees!
  3. After running for 1 minute your heart rate goes up!
  4. You step on the gas pedal and after applying 5psi(pressure applied by your foot) the car starts to move!
  5. After tweaking your marketing campaign you get your first sale!
  6. After 3 weeks of dating you get the first sign of approval

Well you get the drift! Every action has a critical point! Find it and when you do……harness it! Rather than finding what went wrong, concentrate on finding the critical point! It is at this point that people that have a process seek to understand! It at this point that things happen!

Have a critical weekend!

According to Newton’s third law, for every action force there is an equal (in size) and opposite (in direction) reaction force. Forces always come in pairs – known as “action-reaction force pairs.” Identifying and describing action-reaction force pairs is a simple matter of identifying the two interacting objects and making two statements describing who is pushing on who and in what direction. For example, consider the interaction between a baseball bat and a baseball.

The baseball forces the bat to the left; the bat forces the ball to the right. Together, these two forces exerted upon two different objects form the action-reaction force pair. Note that in the description of the two forces, the nouns in the sentence describing the forces simply switch places.

Consider the following three examples. One of the forces in the mutual interaction is described; describe the other force in the action-reaction force pair. Click the button to view the answer.

I totally agree….through research there are those critical points as a result of the cause and effect rule where almost every event is triggered by an immediate visible or invisible cause that could be tangible or non-tangible. The other thing that scientists are now finding out is that no event happens in part or during it’s entirety without it’s dependancy on an underlying series of events or actions! Every action takes place as a result of more than one variable and mostly it is about 20%(Pareto rule) of the variables involved that contribute the greatest effect(80%)! Imagine if you could apply this intel to business and life in general?
